SnusFri Privacy Policy

Thank you for using SnusFri. Your privacy is important to us. This privacy policy explains how SnusFri ("we", "our" or "us") handles your data and what rights you have regarding your personal information.

1. Information We Collect
SnusFri does not collect, store or transmit any personal data without your consent. All data entered into the app is stored locally on your device. This includes diary entries about your journey to reduce or stop using nicotine products. If you consent during onboarding, your diary entries are shared, but without directly identifiable information. This is intended to drive statistics and evaluate the effectiveness of SnusFri.

2. Data Generation
All data is stored locally on your device. If you choose to synchronise your data, we use Firebase with anonymous authentication. Your data will be associated with an anonymous UID without personally identifiable information.

3. Use of Third-Party Services (Updated)
SnusFri uses Firebase to synchronise your diary data, provided you consent. We use anonymous authentication, and no directly identifiable information is stored. In addition, we use Sentry to collect error reports and performance data to improve the app's stability. 4. Data Security
Although we do not offer additional encryption within the app, the security of your data largely depends on the security measures of your device. We advise you to keep your device's operating system updated and use a secure password.

5. Children's Privacy
SnusFri is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will take steps to delete it as soon as possible.

6. User Rights and Consent
You can choose to synchronise your diary data during onboarding by activating the consent button. If you disable consent, no data is stored outside your device. You can withdraw your consent at any time via your profile page in the app.

7. Data Deletion
You can delete all data stored by SnusFri simply by uninstalling the app from your device. If you have consented to synchronise your data, all synchronised data will be deleted if you withdraw your consent.
